Notice on the publication of the draft Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On the Establishment of the Ukrainian Pharmaceutical Agency
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine submits for public discussion the draft Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On the Establishment of the Ukrainian Pharmaceutical Agency” (hereinafter – the draft act).
The draft act has been developed by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in implementation of the requirements of the Law of Ukraine No. 2469-IX of 28 July 2022 “On Medicinal Products” and with the aim of establishing the Ukrainian Pharmaceutical Agency (hereinafter – the UPA) as a central executive authority with a special status, responsible for implementing state policy in the fields of development, market authorization, quality control, safety and efficacy of medicinal products; technical regulation and market surveillance of medical devices, in vitro diagnostic medical devices, active implantable medical devices, bioimplants, cosmetic products; circulation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors and counteracting their illicit circulation; blood donation and blood components; and the functioning of the blood system.
The draft Resolution and the relevant accompanying materials have been published by being posted on the official website of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on the Internet (www.moz.gov.ua)
